Sommaire Régional

Thousands of children and youth in Saskatchewan receive nourishment in local and community based child nutrition programs. Each program is unique and the majority operates independent of others except for a minority of the programs which are coordinated on a larger scale.

The Child Nutrition Programs in Saskatchewan are funded through a variety of sources including, provincial support, school budgets, local fundraising and philanthropic donations.

Similar to other provinces there are a myriad of lead organizations and partnership across the province that administer the child nutrition programs. These include local organizations, service clubs, faith organizations, individuals, aboriginal groups, and schools.
